Get back to our roots
This is where the magic started, and still happens every season. From our cozy log-hewn lodge, you'll take in the same mind-blowing scenery that's astounded mountaineers for a century. History abounds but so do modern comforts - Bugaboos has one of the best hot tub views on the planet.
Experience a natural high
From bagging big lines to skiing drier mellow fluff, the variety at Bugaboos will surprise you. With high elevation terrain so close to the lodge, expect to ski from alpine to valley and right back up again. The mountains here are big and the landscape ever-changing; after over 50 years we still find exciting new lines every season.
Nostalgia Week at the Bugaboos: April 1 - 8, 2017
Along with great skiing, Nostalgia Week is also about sharing our history and the history of Heli-Skiing. Come meet iconic CMH personalities as we share stories and toast the passionate, pioneering spirits that brought Heli-Skiing to life!

Ready to Book at Bugaboos Lodge?
Experience the classic Heli-Skiing trip CMH was built on. Glide across glaciers and float through remote glades with the company of 10 soon-to-be best friends. When you're ready to hang up your skis, retreat to the spa for a massage, and refuel with a gourmet meal and backcountry cocktail. There's a reason these are our Signature Trips.
Experience powder for your first time with just 10 guests, led by two professional guides. We love to introduce skiing in mountain wilderness to strong intermediate/advanced skiers or boarders. Three million acres is too much to keep all to ourselves.
The passion for Heli-Skiing never really fades, yet you’re wise enough to know that quality over quantity is what you want. Our Powder Masters program will keep you on the slopes as long as your spirit is willing, under the watchful eyes of two guides.
Whether your kids can out-ski you or want to come in early, they'll have a day they'll never forget. Give them a taste of powder and at the end of the day, if they want to head back to the lodge for fun and games, you can stay out on the slopes.
Ski Fusion: Heli-Skiing & Heli-Assisted Ski Touring
Why compromise when you can do it all? Spend a full 3.5 days Heli-Skiing and 3 days heli-assisted ski touring with a fusion trip. Soar to spectacular heights and tackle challenging ascents that’ll burn off your daily gourmet meals.
Pair relaxing nights in some of the world’s most luxurious lodges with days full of untamed trees, gentle bowls and anything else you want your private guides and helicopter to take you to.
Classic Heli-Access Hiking
Take a 3- or 6-day trip through breathtaking scenery hardly anyone else has seen. You’ll catch a morning helicopter then spend the day exploring mountain ridges and meadows. As a group we’ll get so far off the beaten path that there aren’t any paths at all – then we’ll head back to civilization (and a very luxe lodge).
Indulge in one grand guided experience that spans two remote lodges (accessible by helicopter only) and Canada's Columbia Mountains. Start your adventure at the Bobbie Burns Lodge, then heli-hop to the Bugaboos Lodge, all the while exploring the world's most glorious glaciers and mountain terrain.
Photography with John E. Marriott
John’s 20 years of experience in wilderness photography are at your disposal. With the Columbia Mountains as your backdrop, you’ll learn to get the best photos in a variety of light and landscapes. Back at Bugaboos Lodge in the evenings, John will teach you techniques you can practice in the field.
