Share the lodge, but keep the snow to yourself
Our Private Trips let you enjoy the camaraderie and life-long friendships of a shared lodge experience, while ensuring that all the turns and fresh tracks are yours alone. You and your favourite ski buddies will have your very own guides and private helicopter, so you can get the most out of the mountains before heading back to swap stories at the lodge.
Ski what you want, when you want
With your own private guides and helicopter, you can spend your morning chasing big turns on glacier plateaus and your afternoons weaving through the spacious trees of our mature forest glades. Take a midday break at the lodge or see how many vertical feet you can squeeze out of your legs. Whatever your ski dreams are made of, we have the terrain to make them come true.
Safety isn't a luxury. It's a necessity.
We have high standards for everything we do and safety is no exception. We use the most advanced safety equipment available and ensure all of our guides have the extensive avalanche training and decades of big mountain experience to get you to the best snow and back safely.

frequently asked questions
- What's the difference between Private and Exclusive trips?
Private trips are a group of skiers staying in a lodge with other guests but skiing with their own helicopter and two guides.
An Exclusive trip is just for you and your group of 5-10 people and two guides, with the lodge and helicopter entirely to yourselves.
- How fit do I need to be to Heli-Ski?
A typical CMH Heli-Skiing Guest is:
- a strong intermediate to advanced skier/rider
- able to ski/ride in control on most terrain and willing to try black diamond runs
- comfortable in a variety of snow conditions
- fit enough to ski/ride for consecutive days
- someone who has skied/ridden actively at mountain resorts for a few seasons
- What's the group size? What type of helicopters do you use?
Group sizes can range from 4 to 20 depending on the facility. For groups of 4 and below, we will use a Bell 407 (up to 4 skiers/2 guides) - above 4 skiers, we use a Bell 212 helicopter.

Our most luxurious lodge is Valemount, which Ski Magazine named one of the world’s “Five Most Luxe Ski Lodges.”
