TRIP CANCELLATION & MEDICAL INSURANCE

Trip cancellation/interruption and medical travel insurance is available for visitors to Canada and Canadians. For your peace of mind, and to avoid any financial hardship that an unexpected cancellation, interruption or medial emergency could cause, we strongly recommend contacting Uniglobe Specialty Travel to receive trip insurance details and a quote.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that occasionally things come up that prevent our guests from joining us. Therefore please pay careful attention to the CMH cancellation policy.

NOTE: We strongly encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance that will cover circumstances that would necessitate you having to cancel your trip with us.

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR TRIP MORE THAN 12 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE TRIP START DATE, YOU CAN:
1 - Transfer your funds paid to a new trip within the calendar year, less a $250 change fee;
2 - Find a space replacement for the booking and incur no financial penalties*.

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR TRIP WITHIN 5-12 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE TRIP START DATE, YOU CAN:
1 - Transfer your funds paid to a new trip within the same winter season, less a $500 rebooking fee;
2 - Transfer your funds paid to a new trip within the calendar year, less a 20% rebooking fee;
3 - Find a space replacement for the booking and incur no financial penalties*.

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR TRIP 4 WEEKS OR LESS PRIOR TO THE TRIP START DATE, YOU CAN:
1 - Transfer your funds paid to a new trip within the same winter season, less a $1,500 rebooking fee;
2 - Transfer your funds paid to a new trip within the same calendar year, less a 50% rebooking fee;
3 - Find a space replacement for the booking and incur no financial penalties*.

* Space Replacements: for cancellations made more than 12 weeks prior to trip start date, the cancelled guest has 7 days to find a valid space replacement. For cancellations made within 12 weeks prior to trip start date, the cancelled guest has 48 hours to find a valid space replacement. It is the responsibility of the guest, not CMH, to find a valid space replacement. A valid space replacement is subject to the new guests ski ability being appropriate for the program they are joining. Once a valid space replacement is confirmed, the cancelled guest will incur no financial penalties and can receive their original funds paid as a refund or to be put in full towards another trip with CMH.

Private/Exclusive Trip Cancellation
Deposits are transferable to another private week, if available, within the same winter season only. The funds cannot be transferred to another season, bookings in other areas for non-private weeks, or to cover the final payment of another private group booking. Final payment is due 12 weeks prior to the trip and is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy note:
If you do not file an insurance claim and wish to use these cancelled funds, a new booking must be made with our CMH Sales Team by May 11th, 2018 for all cancelled bookings from the 2017-18 Season or by May 10th, 2019 for all cancelled bookings from the 2018-19 season. After this date, all funds paid become non-transferable and will be taken as cancellation fees.

NON-SKIER CANCELLATION POLICY

If a non-skier cancels their trip, funds paid are non-refundable but fully transferable to any new skiing, hiking or non-skier booking according to the following policy:
