Google Earth is a free software program that transforms your computer into a virtual globe. Google Earth combines the power of Google Search with satellite imagery, maps and terrain.

System Requirements
Google Earth is a broadband, 3D application that older computers may not be able to run, particularly:
- Desktop computers older than 4 years
- Notebook computers older than 2 years
Before downloading Google Earth, check to ensure that your system meets at least the minimum criteria, and preferably the recommended criteria, listed below.
Minimum configuration for PC:
- Operating System: Windows 2000 or Windows XP
- CPU: Pentium 3, 500Mhz
- System Memory (RAM): 128MB
- Hard Disk: 400MB free space
- Network Speed: 128 Kbits/sec
- Graphics Card: 3D-capable with 16MB of VRAM
- Screen: 1024x768, "16-bit High Color
Minimum configuration for Mac:
- Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4.0
- CPU: G3 500Mhz
- System Memory (RAM): 256MB
- Hard Disk: 400MB free space
- Network Speed: 128 Kbits/sec
- Graphics Card: 3D-capable with 16MB of VRAM
- Screen: 1024x768, "Thousands of Colors"
