Wade Davis
Canadian Wade Davis has been called "a rare combination of scientist, scholar, poet and passionate defender of all life's diversity". A National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence, Wade's career as a anthropologist, botanist, photographer and author have taken him to the far corners of the world to learn from ancient and existing cultures.
On this 3-day Short Escape in the Bugaboos you will have the opportunity to not only walk, hike, climb and ramble amid some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in Canada, but to spend time with Wade Davis. One evening back at the lodge he will share his Massey Lectures presentation The Wayfinders: Why Ancient Wisdom Matters in the Modern World.
As a teenager, Wade Davis spent time in the Bugaboos as a Junior Park Ranger and has a particular affinity for these mountains. Join Wade Davis, and CMH for an incomparable summer getaway.
