About Dr. Michael Proctor, PhD

Grizzly bear expert, Michael Proctor, PhD has been studying the grizzly bear population in the Kootenay mountains of south-eastern British Columbia since 1995. With a PhD from the University of Calgary he is the lead researcher for the Trans-boarder Grizzly Bear Project working to recover the threatened South Selkirk and South Purcell mountain grizzly bear.

On this 3-day Heli-Hiking trip in the remote Bugaboo mountains of Southeastern BC you will have the opportunity to speak with Michael about his research and hear his fascinating stories about working with these amazing animals.
