Classic Heli-Hiking adventures begin with transportation from Banff, Alberta to the CMH helipad followed by an exhilarating flight into the lodge. The first day of your trip has a half day of guided hiking, walking, etc. Each of the following days (except departure day) will include full days of hiking, if you desire. Try out via ferrata-ing, ziplining, glacier exploration, photo-taking and/or trekking with guests divided into groups based on ability and interest. Add in gourmet cuisine, luxury lodges and a relaxed, casual atmosphere and you have CMH Heli-Hiking in a nutshell.

Heli-Hiking Short Escapes: 2, 3 & 4-day Heli-Hiking Trips

At the Bobbie Burns and Bugaboo Lodges in the Columbia Mountains of BC. These are our Signature Heli-Hiking vacations. These Short Escapes allow you to taste the wonders of Heli-Hiking in our mountain wilderness. The helicopter allows us to explore a variety of sights in a short time. We'll show you glaciers, alpine meadows, mountain ridge walks and lush forested valleys - on any other hiking or walking trip you'd see only one type of mountain terrain. These 2, 3 and 4 day adventures are suitable for all guests; Families, Couples, Friends, Solo Travellers, Mountaineers, Hikers, Trekkers, Walkers, Amblers and Private Groups. Lodge-to-Lodge Heli-Hiking: 6-Day Trips

Experience the best of both worlds. Nestled between the Bugaboos and Bobbie Burns mountain ranges, our two charming mountain lodges provide the perfect opportunity to explore the beauty and expanse of these two breath-taking landscapes. In tandem, these two adventures will surely maximize your opportunity for exploration. Lodge-to-lodge trips include three nights at the Bobbie Burns Lodge and 3 nights at the Bugaboo Lodge. On day four of your stay, you will hike along the famed Grizzly Ridge and be greeted by a helicopter anxiously waiting to take you to the second leg of your journey. A favourite amongst returning guests, you will indulge in two different venues that will ultimately culminate in one grand experience.
