Heli-Hiking is fun for all ages

Where we Heli-Hike

Welcome to Amazing

Bounded to the west by the Canadian Rocky Mountains and to east by the Interior Plateau, the Columbia Mountains are a vast terrain of picturesque land formations located in Southeastern British Columbia. Heli-hiking in the Columbia’s regal sub-ranges, the Bugaboos and the Bobbie Burns, present spectacular vistas and endless exploration for all ages.

Bobbie Burns Sub-Range

The magnificent Bobbie Burns, named for the distinguished Scottish poet, tempt even the most avid hikers with wondrous mountain terrains. Home to the Conrad Glacier and Mt. Nimbus Via Feratta, adventure seekers will revel traversing this shimmering glacier and scaling rock formations on a series of metal rungs, allowing access to incredible venues from seemingly unattainable summits. Zip lines and rope courses provide additional opportunity for exhilaration and are perfectly balanced with serene ridge walks along deep river basins, exploring emerald forests and experiencing geological marvels first hand.

Bugaboos Sub-Range

Although the Bugaboos are renowned for their commanding granite spires, exploration here will reveal an abundance of blossoming meadows, placid icy lakes and ancient rock formations. Thrill seekers will relish the Skyladder Via Ferrata and their ascent toward the sky or a walk through time on a trek over the glaciers beneath the commanding spires. Long coveted by adventurists the world over, this amazing journey will place you into the elite group who can boast about their encounter with the seemingly unreachable.
