Whether you are new to Heli-Skiing or considering a family vacation with different skier abilities – amazing adventures await.
If you are a strong intermediate skier in a resort setting, you are ready to float through your first turns in deep powder. The experts at Powder University will coach you through the first turns and offer personalized instruction to get you comfortable skiing our wilderness terrain. You’ll also find the camaraderie of the group to be a great source of encouragement as you master new skills together.
We video every session and review film each night so you can develop the technique, timing and confidence to experience the thrill of the backcountry.
Bring your kids on the vacation of a lifetime. The options are endless for you and your family. Whether your kids want to out-ski you in the mountains or come in early for some fun around the lodge, their stoke will be almost as high as yours. Welcome to the world’s largest playground.
Powder Intro Heli-Skiing
These trips are designed to introduce strong intermediate skiers to deep snow skiing and move them past the initial hurdles of skiing in wilderness terrain. This program is not for beginner skiers! You should be a newcomer to deep snow skiing and at least a strong intermediate skier. Powder Intro is also for those who would like to ski with maximum 10 guests and 2 guides.
Family Heli-Skiing Trips
For Heli-Skiing parents and their children: An amazing vacation many parents are excited to share with their kids. Children 12 – 25 years old pay 50% of the adult price and get 50% of the vertical guarantee. They can get a taste of powder skiing and return to the lodge any time to enjoy fun, supervised, indoor and outdoor activities: treasure hunts, snowball fights, board games, movie nights and more. Note that if children are under 19 years (the legal age of majority in BC) parents are expectedto ski with their kids, but if the kids get tired and return to the lodge, Mom and Dad can stay out to ski.Younger children who won’t be skiing are also welcome if you provide childcare. Evenings are spent together with family-style meals including special dishes for the kids.
