With almost 45 years of experience, we understand and appreciate how privileged we are to operate in the remote mountain locations that we call home. We also recognize that we have a responsibility to care for these special places. This is not a fleeting trend. Our founder, Hans Gmoser was a committed environmentalist and community leader long before the green revolution. He instilled the sense of stewardship that runs through the company today -- an important value for both our new and more experienced employees.

Canadian Mountain Holidays is one of Canada’s oldest adventure travel companies and the world’s largest operator of helicopter-assisted hiking and helicopter-assisted skiing. Over the past 40 years, CMH has developed 12 Heli-Ski operations throughout the Columbia Mountains of British Columbia. Five of these operate Heli-Hiking programs as well.
